The coolest performance ever! Love this song! Do you remember it?

God man… I put on the good headphones, have it cranked and by the end of it, I’m just sitting here crying, smiling, and looking like a damn psychopath in the middle of the cafe!

Art Garfunkel, one of the most underrated singers in music! I think they’re both pretty good, and an amazing duo when singing harmonies! I can look back and see the beautiful music we got to hear, as opposed to today. Wow, what a difference!

Bridge Over Troubled Water is probably one of the most beautiful songs ever written. This incredible song from Simon and Garfunkel’s fifth studio album was released as a single in early 1970, and it was an immediate hit. This song went on to win 13 Grammy awards and has also been covered by many other artists over the years.

Simon and Garfunkel split that same year, but they came together for reunion tours from time to time. The following video shows a heartrending performance where this musical duo got back to sing their hit song together for the last time.

Things were not very well between these legends, but thankfully that doesn’t affect their performance at all. Watch their incredible video! Did you enjoy this beautiful classic as much as we did? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!

This video is definitely worth watching and then watching it over and over. It will take just a few minutes and you won’t regret the time spent on it. If you liked this video, share it with your friends, so they could also get to know this story.

Bridge over Troubled Water is the fifth and final studio album by American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, released in January 1970 on Columbia Records.

Following the duo’s soundtrack for The Graduate, Art Garfunkel took an acting role in the film Catch-22, while Paul Simon worked on the songs, writing all tracks except Felice and Boudleaux Bryant’s «Bye Bye Love».

With the help of producer Roy Halee, the album followed a similar musical pattern as their Bookends, partly abandoning their traditional style in favor of a more creative sound, combining rock, R&B, gospel, jazz, world music, pop and other genres.

After filming Catch-22, Garfunkel returned and the duo recorded around 14 tracks, three of which were not featured in the album. The inclusion of a 12th track was long discussed but they eventually decided upon 11 songs. It was described as both their «most effortless record and their most ambitious.»
